Urban Studies

Who is this program for?

This program is for students who:

Major Requirements

The major is six core courses in Urban Studies (18 credits)* and six elective courses drawn from Urban Studies or allied fields in the social sciences and humanities (18 credits). Students majoring or minoring in another field need to complete only five elective courses (15 credits).

Minor Requirements

The minor consisting of a concentration of six courses (18 credits) that allow students to explore characteristics of urban areas and the people who live and work in these areas. The minor combines coursework from multiple disciplines giving students the opportunity to tailor their minor to complement their chosen major.
