Public Affairs Program Doctoral Student Manuscript Award
Each year, the Department of Public Policy and Administration recognizes outstanding scholarship by a Public Affairs doctoral student with the Doctoral Student Manuscript Award. This award is only open to pre-qualified students who have not yet passed their qualifying examination.
The nominated paper may have been written for a class, but it must be one the student is working on under the supervision of a faculty member for scholarly presentation or publication. The award will be presented at the DPPA end-of-year reception in early May, and carries a cash prize of $500. The winner will present the paper at the Department’s Brown Bag Seminar in the fall of 2019.
The deadline to submit a manuscript is March 15, 2019. If you have any questions, please contact the chair of the DPPA Awards Committee, Dr. Michael Hayes, at email@example.com
