The Rutgers–Camden M.P.A. and E.M.P.A. programs equip students with a versatile skill set to excel in the dynamic realm of public service. Regardless of modality, the program prepares graduates for careers in government and non-profit organizations, both locally and internationally. Our graduates have made significant contributions to renowned organizations like the United Way and other non-governmental organizations (NGOs). They have also secured positions at prestigious government offices, including the NJ Department of Labor, the Department of Human Services, and the Treasury. Additionally, they have excelled in national-level agencies such as the US Department of Transportation, Department of Human Services, and Departments of Housing and Urban Development.

Program Description and Outcomes

Through coursework and upon graduating the program, all students should have achieved the Universal (core) Competencies established by NASPAA and will master the ability to:
