Dr. Rossi was awarded this year’s Chancellor’s Award for Academic Civic Engagement for her work strengthening connections between the urban studies department and the greater Camden community through integrated engaged civic learning. Her students have spent the year learning from the city’s changemakers, engaging in externships, and writing grants to elevate the work of nonprofit organizations.
