ASSOCIATE FACULTY Rand E. Rosenblatt Professor Rosenblatt is Professor of Law at Rutgers-Camden School of Law. He graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and was the recipient of a Frank Knox Fellowship for study in Great Britain and the Bowdoin first prize for undergraduate writing. He was article and book review editor of the law journal at Yale Law School, where he received his J.D. in 1971. He served as law clerk to United States District Judge Jack B. Weinstein in Brooklyn, New York, later was staff attorney with the Health Law Project of the University of Pennsylvania, and taught at Rutgers' School of Law-Newark prior to joining the faculty at the law school. Professor Rosenblatt has also served as special consultant to the President's Commission for the Study of Ethical Problems in Medicine, and to the court in the Agent Orange Products Liability case, with special reference to health benefits for the veterans' children. His articles include "Health Care Reform and Administrative Law: A Structural Approach" (Yale Law Journal) and "Social Duties and the Problem of Rights in the American Welfare State" (The Politics of Law). He is the coauthor, with Annas, Law, and Wing, of American Health Law (Little, Brown, 1990). |
