Rutgers University is the only institution of higher learning in the State of New Jersey that offers the New Jersey Certified Public Manager Program (NJ CPM). The NJ CPM Program is open to managers, administrators and supervisors of public or non-profit organizations in New Jersey who have at least two years of supervisory experience. A Bachelors degree is not required.
The NJ CPM Program is designed around the core leadership requirements established by the National Consortium of Certified Public Managers. Courses are taught by Rutgers faculty and qualified practitioners. Participants will gain the knowledge needed to tackle complex organizational challenges, manage their day-to-day operations more effectively, and grow as leaders.
