About PASA

Public Administration Student Association (PASA) was founded jointly by a group of MPA students and faculty in 1985 to represent MPA students’ interests both at the Department for Public Policy and Administration as well as Rutgers University Camden levels.

Since its inception PASA has been actively involved with the department’s affairs, lobbying MPA students’ interests, and contributing to there personal and professional development. As one of the few graduate student organization at Rutgers University Camden campus PASA aims to serve as a resource to the University student organizations as well as Camden community agencies by providing support with research, capacity building, policy analysis and evaluation, institutional development etc. In September of each year PASA conducts elections of its new leadership among the first year as well as the second year MPA students.

PASA Mission Statement

The Public Administration Student Association, as an organization, fosters a sense of community between classmates and faculty; develops a sense of public service by providing students community outreach; develops a relationship with the alumni; and represents the students interests to the department and the university.
